The first air taxi was launched in Iran

Iran has officially launched the country's first air taxi, opening a new chapter in the country's aviation sector, IRNA reported.
It is noted that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian delivered a video message during the official ceremony.
The first air taxi flight was carried out in the direction of the cities of Karaj and Qazvin, marking the beginning of regular transportation.
The service will provide the public with access to air transportation, as well as attract investment.
According to the media outlet, the launch of Iran's first air taxi is seen as an important step in modernizing the country's transport infrastructure and expanding access to aviation services.
