Medical sources tell Al Jazeera that at least 81 people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since early Monday, including 53 in Gaza City.

This was reported by the Qatari Al Jazeera TV channel.
According to the source, 53 of the total number of victims were as a result of the bombing of Gaza City. The Israeli army continues to shell and strike the city of Khan Yunis, located in the south of the Palestinian enclave.

On March 18, the Israeli army resumed military operations in the Gaza Strip, violating the ceasefire established in January.
