The memorandum on Ukraine will contain principles and timeframes for settlement, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
Russia is currently continuing to work on a draft memorandum that will form the basis for a future peace treaty. As soon as the memorandum is ready, it will be handed over to the Ukrainian side.
"Russia continues to develop a draft memorandum regarding a future peace treaty with the definition of a number of positions, such as principles of settlement, timeframes for a possible peace agreement, and a potential ceasefire for a certain period if relevant agreements are reached," Zakharova said.
Russia expects Kyiv to send its work on the memorandum simultaneously with Moscow.
