Zelensky: "Ukraine stands next to Azerbaijan"

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day. He posted a message on the X social network.

“I sincerely congratulate President Ilham Aliyev and the fraternal people of Azerbaijan on Independence Day,” the Ukrainian leader said.

Zelensky noted that “the strength of traditions, dignity, unity and deep respect for all generations that have shaped the country and defended its independence are truly inspiring.”

“Ukraine stands by you. I wish Azerbaijan peace, further development and prosperity,” Zelensky concluded.
