Israeli troops open fire on Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid

Israeli forces opened fire on a Gaza Humanitarian Fund aid distribution point in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah. The Gaza Health Ministry said 27 people were killed.

The Israel Defense Forces said troops opened fire on suspicious people who did not respond to warning shots.
Gaza Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal said Israeli troops used tanks and drones to target Palestinians waiting for aid.
