Trump: "Musk will face serious consequences"

Elon Musk will face "serious consequences" if he decides to fund Democratic candidates who oppose the Republican budget bill, US President Donald Trump said in a phone interview with NBC News.
"If he does that, he will have to pay for it. There will be very serious consequences," Trump stressed, refusing to disclose what measures he was talking about.
Earlier, Trump and Musk had a public clash, which led to a series of mutual accusations and threats on the social networks X and Truth Social.
The president noted that he was not going to restore relations with Musk.
Trump added that he considered their communication to be over. "I guess so," Trump said, announcing that he did not intend to contact Musk in the future.
"I have too many other things to do. I am not going to talk to him," Trump added.
In addition, Trump accused Musk of disrespecting the presidential institution. "He is acting very disrespectfully. This kind of treatment of the office of the President is unacceptable," the US president emphasized.
