"During a joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces and the General Security Service in Gaza City, terrorist Assad Abu Sharaya, who had led the terrorist organization "Mujahideen Brigades" in the Gaza Strip in recent years, was eliminated," the army press service said in a statement.
