"Thanks to Aliyev's wisdom and his relations with Putin, peace has been restored in the South Caucasus" - Russian Ambassador

Moscow welcomes the agreement reached between Baku and Yerevan and is interested in continuing the process of normalizing relations between the two countries. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov.
“It is very important for Russia that there is peace in the South Caucasus, and thanks to the wisdom of Ilham Aliyev and his relations with Vladimir Putin, it has now been restored,” Evdokimov said in an interview with BakuTV.

According to him, Moscow welcomes the agreement reached on the text of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia and is interested in continuing the process of normalizing relations between the two countries.

The ambassador noted that Russia is ready to make all necessary efforts to develop transport routes between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“The Russian side is ready and will make all necessary efforts to develop transport routes between Azerbaijan and Armenia, to demarcate the border between the two countries, so that final peace reigns in this wonderful region,” the Russian diplomat emphasized.
