Politicians stressed in a joint closing statement that the Islamic Republic should never have nuclear weapons. Western leaders reaffirmed their commitment to peace and stability in the Middle East, while declaring that Israel has the right to self-defense. Politicians called for a cessation of hostilities in the Middle East, both in Iran-Israel and in the Gaza Strip. |
