Peskov: "Russia is in contact with Armenia regarding the situation with Karapetyan's arrest"

Moscow is in contact with Yerevan, including on the issue related to the arrested businessman Samvel Karapetyan, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.
"Yes, of course. We are in contact with our partners in Armenia, in Yerevan... And, of course, since Karapetyan is also a citizen of the Russian Federation, the relevant contacts are being carried out," Peskov told journalists when asked whether Moscow is in contact with Yerevan on the Karapetyan case.

According to the Kremlin representative, Armenia is an important partner of Russia. Relations between the two countries are developing in various areas.
