"We will not allow our territory to be used against Iran" - Aliyev to Pezeshkian

During a telephone conversation between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today, special attention was paid to reports of possible flights of Israeli drones from Azerbaijani territory to Iran.

Masoud Pezeshkian called for the investigation and verification of reports of Israeli drone flights from Azerbaijani territory against Iran.

Aliyev assured that his country's territory has not been and will not be used "against friendly and brotherly Iran."

"We consider Iran a friendly and brotherly state, and we will not allow our territory or airspace to be used for purposes contrary to this principle," Aliyev said.
