Kellogg: "Russia cannot continue to drag out time"

US President's Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg has called on the US to immediately cease fire and begin negotiations with Ukraine.
"We call for an immediate ceasefire and the transition to trilateral negotiations to end the conflict," Kellogg wrote on the X social network.
At the same time, Kellogg accused the Russian side of deliberately delaying the process, describing the recent statements by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov about the negotiations as "օrwellian" (manipulative, used for propaganda purposes).
Peskov, in particular, said that much depends on the position of the Kiev regime, as well as on how effectively Washington's mediation efforts will continue."
At the same time, Kellogg rejected accusations that the US and Ukraine are deliberately delaying the peace process, emphasizing the lack of any basis for such statements.
"Russia cannot continue to drag out time" the US President's special representative for Ukraine concluded.
