Another Russian agency journalist arrested in Azerbaijan

She reportedly filmed the searches and arrests that took place at the "Sputnik Azerbaijan" office on the afternoon of June 30. “She arrived at the scene at approximately 4:00 p.m. She was last heard from at 4:20 p.m., reporting that she had filmed the material,” the agency reported. The journalist’s mother confirmed her arrest. Ruptly is a division of the RT television channel, which is part of the Russia Today media holding. Russia Today is headed by Dmitry Kiselyov and Margarita Simonyan. The Sputnik agency is also part of this holding. |
