Elon Musk announced the creation of the political party "America" ​​after the results of the vote held on his page X.

"In a ratio of 2:1, you voted for a new political party and you will have it. In a situation where our country is bankrupt due to excessive spending and corruption, it turns out that we live in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today, the party "America" ​​was created to return your freedom to you," he wrote on X.

More than 1.2 million users of the social network took part in the vote. 65.4% voted in favor of the creation of the new party.

According to Musk, the main goal of the party "America" ​​will be to ensure the "will of the people" by entering Congress and occupying several seats there.
