![]() 589 Thursday, 10 July, 2025, 17:41 The UK will supply Ukraine with over 5,000 air defence missiles manufactured by Belfast-based Thales, the British government said in a statement on its website. “This will enable Thales to supply over 5,000 anti-aircraft missiles, which will not only significantly strengthen the UK’s defence capability but will also enable Ukraine to continue the fight,” the document said. The deliveries will be made under a defence agreement between London and Kiev, which will be signed in Rome at a conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction. The UK will also provide Ukraine with up to £283 million in bilateral aid through 2026. Thales 70mm missiles are used against attack drones. |
