Amid reports that Israel is preparing new strategic strikes on Iran, the Iranian president acknowledged the existence of serious problems in the national security system.

Speaking at a government meeting, he said:

“It turned out that we have problems in the security sector.”

According to information published by one of the Iranian journalists, a “top secret” document sent by the National Security Council to governors contains specific warnings about possible Israeli air strikes.

The letter also mentions the increase in drone activity at American military bases and the presence of a “second list” of Israeli targets, including Iranian generals and strategic facilities.

The council called on all military structures to increase their level of preparedness without spreading panic among the population.
