Abrahamyan: "Erdogan and Aliyev found in Pashinyan someone who will hand over everything"
![]() 712 Friday, 18 July, 2025, 11:03 Turkish and Azerbaijani presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev, in the person of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, have found someone who will hand over everything. This was stated by Ara Abrahamyan, head of the Union of Armenians of Russia, in an interview with RIA Novosti, answering the question of whether Pashinyan will agree to the amendments to the Armenian constitution that Azerbaijan demands. "The Azerbaijani president is a systematic, very intelligent person. Or Erdogan. They know that there may no longer be such a person who will do everything that he is told. That is why they now want to squeeze as much as possible out of Pashinyan. And he will do it. They understand very well: they have found a person who...will hand over everything. Pashinyan is doing all that. And they don't tell us about it," Abrahamyan said. According to him, the kind of “peace” that Pashinyan seeks by negotiating an Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement cannot exist, since Armenia will give up all strategic objects and will be surrounded by Azerbaijan, forced to adopt the laws that Azerbaijan will need. Abrahamyan emphasized that in the event of such a ceasefire, Armenia will have no rights, “there will only be obligations.” |
