Israel Kills Three Senior Hamas Officials

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed three senior officials of the Palestinian Hamas movement during an operation in the northern Gaza Strip, the army's press service reported on Friday.
"Last week, the IDF struck and killed terrorist Barhoum Shahin, who was responsible for the western Gaza district of the General Security Unit, and terrorist Asham Tsarzur, head of the emergency committee in the eastern Gaza of the Hamas government," the statement said.

The press service added that the killed men helped the military wing of Hamas exercise control over the population of the strip, using methods of repression and violence. In addition, the Israeli military killed the head of the Hamas legal bureau, Faraj al-Aul.
