Moscow will await official verdicts if Azerbaijan files a lawsuit in international courts against the Russian Federation after the plane crash near Aktau. This was stated at a briefing by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier, the media reported that Baku is preparing documents for submission to international courts in connection with the crash of the AZAL plane near Aktau.
"Investigative actions are underway, the proceedings are underway. If Azerbaijan makes such a decision, this is Azerbaijan's right, we will await official verdicts," Peskov said.
At the same time, Peskov stressed, "It is very important for us that Russians are respected in Azerbaijan."
