Ankara and Damascus to sign military cooperation agreement

This was reported by the Turkish pro-government Hürriyet newspaper. The publication did not report when the document is planned to be signed, noting that Ankara and Damascus are taking this important step against the backdrop of threats to Syria's security from Israel, which is trying to provoke a civil war in the Arab Republic. Hürriyet recalls that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan previously stated that his country would not allow plans to destabilize Syria and divide it.
