"Ukraine, as always, is ready to cooperate with America, with President Trump, in the most effective way possible, so that this war ends with dignity and lasting peace," Zelensky wrote on his X page, responding to US President Donald Trump's statement made the day before.

The US president had announced that he was disappointed with the Russian president and was reducing the 50-day deadline he had given Vladimir Putin to conclude a deal on achieving peace in Ukraine, noting that he was now giving it 10-12 days.
