If Russia does not agree to a ceasefire on Friday, the United States will face consequences, US President Donald Trump said in a conversation with reporters.
"There will be very serious consequences. Yes," Trump said in response to a question about whether there would be consequences if Russia refused to agree to a ceasefire in the Ukrainian conflict.
The Kremlin and the White House announced last week that Putin and Trump would meet in Alaska on August 15. On Tuesday, White House press secretary Carolyn Levitt said that the summit would take place in Anchorage.
