"Pashinyan surrendered everything that many generations have fought for" - Zhuravlev

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, at the request of the West, handed over everything that many generations of Armenians have fought for. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, Alexei Zhuravlev.
The media outlet recalls that earlier Armenia and the United States had agreed to implement the idea of “Trump’s Path to International Peace and Prosperity,” which envisages the creation of a 40-kilometer “Zangezur Corridor” connecting Azerbaijan with Nakhichevan.
“Pashinyan voluntarily gave up everything that many generations of Armenians have fought for for a long time only because his Western masters wanted it that way,” Zhuravlev said.
The MP also noted that Yerevan did not receive anything from either Baku or Washington, but instead the Zangezur Corridor was leased to the Americans for 99 years.
"The example of Panama shows how this usually ends: having entered the canal as a tenant, the US then effectively controlled that country for several decades. The same thing now threatens Armenia, where its prime minister is engaged in wholesale and retail trade," Zhuravlev concluded.
