Trump accepts Lukashenko's invitation to visit Minsk with family

US President Donald Trump has accepted an invitation from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to visit Minsk, the press service of the Belarusian president reported.
“Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko invited US President Donald Trump and his family to Minsk, and the invitation was accepted,” the statement said.
The leaders of Belarus and the US had a telephone conversation ahead of the Russian-American summit in Alaska, where Trump and Putin are now traveling.
“The leaders of the two countries discussed issues of the bilateral agenda, regional issues and the situation in hot spots, including Ukraine,” the press service of the Belarusian president reported.
