Lavrov and Araghchi had a telephone conversation

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi informed his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov by phone about his contacts with his British, German and French counterparts. This was stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“The Iranian Foreign Minister informed Lavrov in detail about the results of his telephone conversation with his British, German and French counterparts on issues related to Iran’s nuclear program,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian side confirmed its readiness to continue to make a significant contribution to the diplomatic efforts to resolve the situation surrounding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear program and to ease tensions in the Middle East.

Earlier, it was reported that the talks between Iran and the Euro Troika will take place on August 26 in Geneva.
