Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev believes that his country is not responsible for the deterioration of relations with Russia.
“Azerbaijan is not responsible for the deterioration of relations with Russia and will never tolerate aggression or disrespect,” Aliyev said in an interview with Al Arabia TV channel.
Speaking about the June arrests of members of a criminal group in connection with the murders in Yekaterinburg, the Azerbaijani president described this story as “unfounded attacks on Azerbaijanis in Russia.”
According to him, Baku is “responding constructively and legally.”
