Israeli Foreign Minister: "The state of Palestine will not exist"

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said after a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Washington that Palestine will not exist as a state, Reuters reports.
"Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, answering a question on Wednesday about plans to create a state of Palestine, said that there will be no such thing," Reuters writes.
The state of Palestine is recognized by 147 countries, including Russia. In 2024, the United States vetoed Palestine's full membership in the UN. Since 2024, Palestine has been recognized by ten states, including Ireland, Norway, Spain and Armenia.
