"Mrs. Kallas and Mrs. Kos are not apologizing for their spokesperson’s support of a rally calling for the overthrow of the government – yet this is precisely what Georgian society expects from the European Union today," – Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili wrote on social media, responding to the joint statement by European Commission Vice-President Kaja Kallas and EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos, APA reports citing Interpress News.
Papuashvili called on EU representatives to refrain from spreading false narratives detached from facts.
