US President Donald Trump announced that the number of points in Washington's proposed peace plan for Ukraine has been reduced from 28 to 22.

„It was just a scheme. It was not a plan. "It was a concept," the US president told reporters on board his plane en route to Florida, where he is expected to spend the US Thanksgiving holiday on November 27.

He was asked to comment on criticism from Republican allies who considered the initial version of the US administration's proposed peace plan too pro-Russian.

"And from there they took each of the 28 points and ended up with 22. Many of those issues were actually resolved very favorably," Trump added.
