Ankara: There is no foreign military base in Türkiye and no attack has been recorded

The Disinformation Combat Center of the Communications Directorate of the Presidential Administration of Türkiye has commented on social media claims alleging that “a US military base located in Türkiye has been struck,”.
It was stated that there is no military base in Türkiye belonging to any foreign country and that no attack against the country has been recorded.
“There is no military base in Türkiye belonging to any country. The air, land, and maritime territories of the Republic of Türkiye, as well as its military facilities, are under full sovereignty and control. No attack against our country has been recorded. Posts aimed at portraying Türkiye as a party to regional conflicts are clearly disinformation.
Türkiye’s defense and security institutions are monitoring and controlling the processes in real time. The public is advised not to trust false information and to rely only on official statements,” the Presidential Administration said.
