US Central Command (CENTCOM) has requested additional military intelligence officers from the Pentagon to support operations against Iran at its headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, according to a report by Politico. The reinforcements are expected to assist with operational planning and intelligence work for at least 100 days, and possibly through September. In a separate update on X, CENTCOM said it is continuing to target mobile missile launchers across Iran. "The effort to eliminate the Iranian regime's mobile missile launch capabilities continues," the command said. "We are finding and destroying these threats with lethal precision."
