Since the war between the United States, Israel, and Iran began, more than three million people across Iran have been forced to leave their homes, according to the United Nations refugee agency.
On Thursday, March 12, the 13th day of the Middle East war, the UN refugee agency said that initial assessments suggest between 600,000 and 1 million Iranian families have been internally displaced. This is estimated to amount to around 3.2 million people.
The UNHCR further warned that as long as the war continues, these figures are likely to rise.
