EU provides an additional 80 million euros to Ukraine from frozen Russian assets

The European Union continues to financially support Ukraine, providing an additional €80 million from the profits of frozen Russian assets. This decision was announced during an informal on-site meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council held in Kyiv.
The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, confirmed during a press conference the EU’s intention to strengthen support for Ukraine and to effectively coordinate international efforts.
“Today I am pleased that we are providing Ukraine with an additional €80 million, drawn from the profits of frozen Russian assets. Regarding energy needs, we discussed this briefly today. We will continue to mobilize international support.” Kallas said.
