The Iranian government plans to develop a special regime for the Strait of Hormuz, which has geopolitical significance for the country, Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani told RIA Novosti. "The Strait of Hormuz is a special property of our country. Like any property used as leverage for interaction with various countries, it is necessary to create a special regime for it," Mohajerani said.
