Pakistan army chief heads to Tehran with Gulf talks message

Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, is set to travel to Tehran to deliver a message to Iranian officials regarding negotiations aimed at resolving tensions in the Persian Gulf region, according to Iranian MP Fida Hossein Maleki.
“Pakistan’s Army Chief [Asim] Munir is arriving in Tehran today to deliver a special message to Iranian officials,” the Iranian lawmaker said, as quoted by Al Mayadeen. No details regarding the contents of the message were disclosed.
