As the Trump administration insists that a deal to end the war with Iran is close and that the U.S. destroyed its military capabilities, the Defense Department has developed a list of additional targets should the president decide to resume combat operations, according to three U.S. officials and national security experts. But there is a catch: Those targets could be much harder to find.
If President Trump decides to resume major combat operations in Iran, most of the targets left to strike are hidden or able to be moved around, sources say.
