The Golden Globes will honor Armenian actor Samvel Tadevossian at the inaugural Golden Globes Silk Road Tribute Gala, which will be held October 23-24, 2026, in Uzbekistan.
Samvel Tadevossian will receive the Golden Globes Beacon Award, recognizing emerging performers from Central Asia and the Caucasus whose work represents a new generation of talent in film and television.
Samvel Tadevossian is best known for his leading performance in the war drama LIFE AND FIGHT, which earned him national recognition, including the State Prize of the Republic of Armenia and an Anahit Award from the National Film Academy of Armenia. Samvel Tadevossian has also been recognized for his stage work, including his performance in the one-man play THE EGOIST.
The two-day gala will celebrate the achievements of film and television artists from Central Asia and the Caucasus, honoring six artists from Armenia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.
