Soon after the announcement, the leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) cost-cutting initiative in the United States and Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Wednesday warned that there would be a sudden decrease in the revenue of various media outlets like The New York Times and Associated Press. The government made the announcement after it was found by the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency that Politico was receiving $8.2 million in “government subsidies." |
