#Axios: "Israel agrees to resume humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza"

Israel has agreed to resume humanitarian aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip for the first time since March, Axios reported, citing a letter from the US-based Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF) to the Israeli government.
In early March, Israel blocked the delivery of humanitarian aid to the enclave.
“The Israeli government has agreed to resume humanitarian aid deliveries to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” the news outlet reported.
The GHF is expected to begin operations in Gaza in late May.
According to Axios, the GHF has asked Israeli authorities to facilitate the delivery of sufficient humanitarian aid to Gaza using existing mechanisms until the fund’s distribution infrastructure is operational. The GHF has also asked Israel to identify locations in the northern part of the region where it will set up distribution points for humanitarian aid.
