This was reported on the agency's website on August 4. Contamination with organic chlorides was detected during the unloading of a shipment of 92,000 tons of crude oil from Azerbaijan loaded at a Turkish port. "The Ministry of Energy has notified the European Commission and declared a crisis—level emergency," according to a press release. |
