Rosgvardiya, Russia’s national guard, dispatched an engineering unit to the site. “During an unsuccessful demining attempt, an explosion occurred, killing two Rosgvardiya officers and leaving one with traumatic amputations of both legs due to the explosion,” a HUR source told Ukrainiska Pravda. The explosion caused the disruption of railway traffic, with over 15 trains in both directions being delayed, as reported to Ukrainska Pravda by the intelligence source. Another attack took place on the night of September 13-14. An explosion occurred after 2 a.m. on the St. Petersburg-Pskov railway line, in a section running through the Leningrad Region, less than 70 kilometers from the city limits of St. Petersburg, Russia’s second largest city. |
