ABBA musician Jan Kling has died at the age of 85. This was reported by the Aftonbladet newspaper on November 24.

"Musician Jan Kling has died. Jan Kling was 85 years old," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, this information was confirmed by his son Matthias Kling. The cause of death is not specified. The musician's son also added that his father had always been passionate about music. Kling played wind and labial instruments, in particular, the saxophone, flute, clarinet. Compositions with his participation are included in many albums of the band — Arrival, Voulez-vous, Super Trouper and The Visitors.
