UN: More than 6,700 civilians killed in Ukraine since Russian invasion started
![]() 1590 Tuesday, 06 December, 2022, 13:30 Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has recorded 17,181 civilian casualties in Ukraine, including 6,702 killed and 10,479 injured. It is noted that most of the civilian casualties recorded were caused by the use of explosive weapons with wide area effects, including shelling from heavy artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, missiles and air strikes. |
