The corresponding decree was posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts on March 6. "To appoint Alexander Nikitich Darchiev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the United States," the document says. In particular, Darchiev has been appointed as Russia's permanent observer at the Organization of American States in Washington.
