"Since Wednesday, at least 20 people have died as a result of bad weather, including a 9-year—old boy in Kentucky who was swept away by a torrent of water as he walked to a bus stop," the publication said. Rescue teams continue to work in settlements affected by heavy rains and hurricanes.
