Hamas Opens Fire on Hungry Palestinians at UN Warehouse
![]() 1192 Thursday, 29 May, 2025, 17:10 In the al-Maghazi camp, Hamas militants shot dead five Palestinians who were trying to storm a humanitarian aid warehouse. Earlier, CNN reported that hundreds of hungry Palestinians stormed a warehouse belonging to the UN World Food Program. The Guardian reported that Hamas is systematically seizing aid and selling it at high prices, which is causing discontent among the population. After a long break, the American Gaza Humanitarian Fund has resumed food distribution, with the support of the Israel Defense Forces and private security companies. The UN is not participating in the operation. Israel accuses it of collaborating with Hamas. In response, Hamas called for a boycott of the distribution points, stating: "Our people will endure hunger, but they will not reach out to the occupier." However, many Palestinians are coming to aid stations at night despite the threats. Videos are circulating on social media in which residents thank the United States for its support. |
