Candidate wanted by Russia wins Polish presidential election

In the second round of the Polish presidential election, the candidate of the opposition Law and Justice party, Karol Nawrocki, won with 50.89% of the vote. The candidate of the ruling Civic Coalition and Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaszkowski received 49.11% of the vote. This was reported by Polish Television, citing data from the State Election Commission.

Recall that the voting in the first round of the Polish presidential election took place had on May 18.
