Rada approves Sviridenko as Ukraine's Prime Minister

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on the Organization of State Authority supported the proposal of President Volodymyr Zelensky on the appointment of Yulia Svyrydenko as Prime Minister of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram channel of People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
According to Zheleznyak, 16 members of the committee supported the appointment of Svyrydenko as head of government, four "abstained".
Changes are expected in the Ukrainian government this week. On July 14, Zelensky proposed Svyrydenko to take the post of Prime Minister. Yesterday, July 16, the parliament dismissed Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and his government. Acting Minister of Justice Olha Stefanishyna, as reported by RBC-Ukraine sources, may become the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America (USA).
