Hamas: We congratulate Syrians for their success in achieving freedom

Hamas issued a statement congratulating the Syrian people on what it described as their success in achieving their aspirations for freedom and justice.

In the statement, Hamas called for unity and reconciliation among the Syrian people as they move forward toward building a stable and prosperous future.

The movement praised the determination of the Syrian people, emphasizing their ability to overcome challenges and navigate the current critical phase. Hamas reaffirmed its commitment to standing with the Syrian people and emphasized the importance of Syria's unity and territorial integrity.
"We call on all components of the Syrian people to unite their ranks, foster greater national cohesion, and rise above the pains of the past," the statement read.

Hamas highlighted Syria’s historical role in supporting the Palestinian cause and expressed hope that the country would continue to play a leadership role on regional and international levels. The statement underlined the deep bond between the Palestinian and Syrian peoples, reiterating the shared vision of freedom and justice.

The movement also strongly condemned repeated attacks on Syrian territory by the Israeli Occupation, describing them as brutal aggression. Hamas rejected what it called "Zionist ambitions and plans" that targeted Syria's land and people.
