Tusk: "Europe should consider increasing NATO's presence on the border with Russia and Belarus"

Europe should consider increasing NATO troops on the border with Russia and Belarus, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said upon arrival at the EU summit.
"I will talk about considering increasing European and NATO troops on the border with Russia and Belarus," he said.
"Europe must enter into an arms race with Russia", Tusk said.
According to Tusk, "Protecting the EU's eastern border is a priority that no one questions. This means resources, infrastructure assistance," the prime minister added.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov considered the deployment of a peacekeeping force on the territory of Ukraine unacceptable, which, according to Lavrov, is equivalent to the presence of NATO, noting that such discussions pursue an openly hostile goal.
